A Japanese mother couldn't find a decent postpartum care center in her own country. She discovered that Taiwan had the custom of "confinement" and that the confinement centers were clean and comfortable. In order to be able to have confinement in Taiwan, she decided to come to Taiwan to give birth. She stayed there for two months. In order to have peace of mind during the confinement period, she even brought her 7-year-old son to Taiwan, enrolled him in a two-month short-term school, and accompanied him to welcome the newborn.
Looking at the newborn baby, their faces were filled with happiness. Mrs. Chimura and her husband are both Japanese and work in Pakistan. They came to Taiwan to give birth specifically for the purpose of "confinement"... Please see the TVBS report
